Celebrate with SCIAF

Getting married? Why not celebrate your big day with a SCIAF wedding list?

It’s easy - create a JustGiving page and ask your guests to swap the usual wedding gifts for a donation to SCIAF.

Instead of toasters, wine glasses and cutlery, they could give a helping hand to people living in poverty.

You can create a SCIAF wish list for any special occasion.

Here are just some examples to give your guests an idea of how their donations could help:

£10 - gives a farmer enough seeds to plant a whole acre of sorghum

£15 - provides food and shelter for someone who has lost their home during an earthquake

£30 - buys a goat for a family, giving them fresh milk to drink and sell. Goat droppings also make great organic fertiliser!

£48 - provides six families with a supply of clean, safe water

£120 - educates ten street children in the slums of Cambodia for a year
