Joining forces for SCIAF
Two Paisley women, Ann Henry and Caroline Martin asked all their friends and family to donate to SCIAF instead of buying gifts to celebrate their joint 60th birthday. The duo kept costs low by asking friends and family to provide food and a band.
“Everyone pulled out the stops because they knew it was for SCIAF” said Ann. The £1352 they raised will now fund a well for two villages with enough left over to support three families and fund planting of crops.
