St Mary's Haiti Concert
Staff and pupils at St Mary’s Primary School in Leith joined forces with local singers and musicians to hold a concert for earthquake survivors in Haiti.
The night was a great success. Well known jazz musicians Phil Bancraft and Brian Kellock played for the school alongside the Sunshine on Leith pipe band and lollipop man John Rudden.
They raised over £1,300 for SCIAF’s Haiti Emergency Appeal. The money they collected will be used to provide people who were left homeless following the earthquake with food, shelter, clean water and medical care.
