Tommy Dobbin in Ethiopia

Tommy Dobbin, a SCIAF Schools Volunteer, jumped at the chance to spend the summer teaching English at the Daughter's of Charity Children's Project in Mekelle in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity arose from joint work between SCIAF and CAFOD [SCIAF's sister agency in England and Wales].

In this blog, Tommy shares his thoughts and experiences as he gets to know this fascinating country and its people.
