The countdown to the WEE BOX, BIG Change campaign has started and people up and down the country are deciding what to give up for Lent.

This year, we’re focusing on the issue of hunger and on our work in Ethiopia where many families struggle to grow enough food.

Over one billion people will go to bed hungry tonight – that’s one in every six people on the planet. We’re working hard to change that, but we need your help.

Join some of Scotland’s top celebrities and take on SCIAF’s 40 Day Challenge and together we can make poverty and hunger a thing of the past. It’s easy – just give something up for the 40 days of Lent and put the money you save in your SCIAF WEE BOX. We’ll then use that money to give families in Africa, Asia and Latin America the tools, training and support they need to free themselves from poverty and hunger – for good.

Just a small change can make a BIG difference. For the cost of 40 bags of crisps, SCIAF can supply four families in Africa with a selection of seeds so that they can grow a greater variety of food. For the price of 40 cappuccinos, we can provide safe water for ten families and 40 chocolate bars could pay for a fish farm in Cambodia.
