The Caravan of Hope is covering more than 4,000 miles and 10 countries across Africa as it heads towards the UN climate talks in Durban

Many of those travelling have come from communities impacted by the harsh drought in East Africa. It is their aim to take their stories of the harsh effects of climate change to the world leaders taking part in the UN talks.

The Caravan of Hope set off from Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi, on 9th November. The 17 day journey will take in Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana and South Africa, picking up people along the way.

You can follow the Caravan of Hope on Twitter or read blogs from many of those taking part.

Watch out for our exclusive SCIAF coverage from Durban over the next couple of weeks! If you haven't taken action for climate justice yet, please do so today.
