Photo Friday - Viva! El Salvador
SCIAF and Friends of the Earth joined forces to host a fascinating evening of discussion on how climate change is impacting El Salvador and what needs to change. Check out Photo Friday
SCIAF and Friends of the Earth hosted Dr Ricardo Navarro (head of SCIAF partner organisation CESTA El Salvador) and Kumi Naidoo (head of Greenpeace International) for a special event in Edinburgh. A rare opportunity to hear from these two world-renowned anti-poverty and climate justice activists on the same bill, the event was sold-out.
Dr Navarro spoke about the impacts climate change is having on people in El Salvador, and called for all of us to speak out for action, while Kumi Naidoo explained the need for an urgent, fair and legally binding climate deal when the UN meets in Durban, South Africa, next month.
