Every year, CODILUSI provides 3000 rape survivors with immediate medical attention and counselling services across 42 hospitals. CODILUSI also gives survivors support to meet their basic material needs and rebuild their lives.

One of the greatest challenges facing survivors is how to deal emotionally with pregnancies resulting from rape. CODILUSI provides pregnant survivors with emotional support and counselling to help them accept their children as well as material support in the form of food, clothes and school fees to help cover the cost of parenthood.

To help put an end to the rape epidemic for good, CODILUSI trains volunteers to spread awareness of the illegality of sexual violence and runs workshops with communities and military personnel to secure practical action to protect women and girls against rape.
