Organisation for Social Services for AIDS (OSSA)

OSSA is based in Addis Ababa and provides support and services to people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS; such as counselling, testing and education programmes.

In Ethiopia, HIV and AIDS is a source of stigma and discrimination and many AIDS orphans are expelled from their parental homes following the death of their parents. SCIAF provides financial assistance to an OSSA-led project that provides support and guidance to parents, including those living with HIV and AIDS, to ensure that they make suitable guardianship arrangements for their children and their property rights are protected by promoting will writing.
