Kitovu Health Care Complex

SCIAF works with the Kitovu Health Care Complex to support its community based programmes in Masaka District. The programmes provide health care services, focusing particularly in the areas of home/hygiene promotion, HIV/AIDS awareness and education. T

his project benefits over 48,000 people.

Kitovu has several health programmes which are run to recognised government standards including five clinics and four outreach programmes. The project also provides anti natal care, health education, immunisation and advice, HIV/AIDS sensitisation of communities on stigma reduction through community meetings, drama and video shows, counselling, referral for treatment, and training of community health workers
