With SCIAF’s support CESTA seeks to empower people living with disabilities by assisting their families to set up kitchen gardens for growing organic vegetables and encouraging the planting of fruit trees.
The organisation runs training sessions on farming techniques, business management skills and marketing.
At national level, the project involves local communities in lobbying the government on policy issues such as accessibility and equal opportunities.
