Join our first Gala Dinner to help the world's poorest people

There's still time to book your seat at our very first Gala Dinner to raise money to help some of the world’s poorest people get the support they need to work their way out of poverty.

Our event on Saturday 4th November at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow will be a fantastic evening of music and entertainment. It will also be a great opportunity to put our faith into action and reflect on how we can create a better world for all people, while raising money to help vulnerable families in poor countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Inspired by the Gospel, our mission is to reach out with love to our global neighbours in need, regardless of class, race, gender or religion. We urge all our supporters to join us in this mission by booking a seat or table at our inaugural fundraising Gala Dinner.

On the night there will be live music, dancing, raffles as well as an auction of a rare Celtic Opus - one of only 500 in circulation.

Our Bishop President Joseph Toal, other senior clergy and members our Board of Directors will attend our Gala Dinner. BBC Scotland sport presenter David Currie has very kindly agreed to compere the evening.

The event starts at 6.30pm with a drinks reception before a three course dinner and tea and coffee, and finishes at 11.30pm.  Tickets start at £75 and can be bought by contacting our Community Fundraising and Events Officer Teresa McGoldrick at or by calling 0141 354 5555.
