Across Scotland, we're all working together to protect the most vulnerable members of society from the coronavirus. Our friends, our families, and our neighbours. In these difficult and uncertain times, we pray for good health for all.
Here at SCIAF, we're continuing to support some of the most vulnerable of all - our neighbours around the world who are already living on a knife edge and are looking to us for help.
We're listening to our partners, who we work with in some of the poorest communities in the world, to understand how we can best support them through this crisis.
We've closed our office to protect our staff, but we're all working from home and you can still contact us by email or by calling 0141 354 5555 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Please bear with us if it takes longer than usual to thank you for your gifts by post
During Lent, SCIAF staff and volunteers would usually be visiting parishes and schools across Scotland to personally thank you for your support, and to tell you about our WEE BOX BIG CHANGE appeal. While we can't be with you this year, you're in our prayers.
Many parishes are now livestreaming Mass through their websites and social media channels. We're extremely grateful to those who've included a message about our WEE BOX appeal in their service.
We've made a list of some parishes and sites who are livestreaming Mass.
You may be aware that our WEE BOX BIG CHANGE appeal has UK Aid Match funding this year. This means when you give before the 20th May, your donation will be doubled by the UK government.
We know parishes and schools have been tirelessly fundraising, and we understand that some of the activites you had planned to support our appeal may no longer go ahead.
We would ask that you keep the date of the 20th May in mind, as we want to make sure all generous donations which you've raised and collected are doubled. Provided we receive your donation before the 20th of May, it will be matched by the UK government.
Although you may not be able to visit your parish, there are still many ways you can donate which we've listed below. We'll continue keep you updated during this difficult time. You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to hear all our latest news and announcements.
We are grateful for your kindness and continued support, and wish you good health in the weeks ahead.

WEE BOX information for PARISHES
If you'd like to help promote the WEE BOX in your livestream then we've made a collection of resources you can use.
While you are not able to hold a collection or collect in WEE BOXES at this time, we would be happy to still receive any funds that you have collected via BACS or online. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request our BACS details. If you are not able to collect in boxes, please ask Parishioners to hold onto them until it’s safe to hand them in.
