Olivia McKibbin
Faith for the Future
Olivia McKibbin is a teenage climate activist and pupil at Notre Dame High School in Glasgow. She believes that the act of caring for our common home is integral to following our Catholic Faith.
"I’m a climate activist because I was taught by my family that, in our Catholic tradition, respect is essential to developing a modern world - and respecting the planet is key to that. My faith has made me think about how all my actions have consequences and every legacy I leave behind should be a positive one.
"I hope the world acknowledges the true nature of the climate crisis and we take action to reverse the damage we’ve made."
We all know what we need to do
