What we do:
  • Emergency Response

With a population of 9.5 million and limited natural resources, Jordan has hosted several waves of refugees following regional conflicts including Palestinians, Iraqis, and most recently Syrians. The Syrian Civil War has resulted in huge numbers of refugees fleeing to Jordan. It now hosts the second highest number (89) of refugees per 1,000 inhabitants in the world.

We're working with sister agencies CAFOD and Caritas Jordan to provide food, shelter, and medical assistance to refugees, as well as trauma counselling and help to get children into school.
