Development and Partnership in Action

Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) is a Cambodian non-government organisation (NGO) which has been active in the country for over 30 years. They focus on tackling issues as diverse as creating community leaders, gender equality, natural resource management, health and education, and food security, as well as adapting to address emerging issues such as climate change and extractive industries. 

Vann Maren - Stung Treng - CambodiaSCIAF has partnered with DPA for three decades, working on a range of projects including the UK government Aid Match project which ran from 2018 – 2021, transforming the lives of 46,838 people in some of the poorest parts of rural Cambodia.

We’ve seen an increase in the ability of field staff to deliver a quality project, and we’ve been able to develop new policies including Safeguarding and Whistleblowing policies. As a result we’ve become stronger, ensuring accountability and transparency across all of our work.
