Prayers for Venezuela

In the aftermath of the recent earthquakes which have devastated parts of Venezuela near Caracas, our prayers are with our sisters and brothers who have been affected by this crisis.

The devastation has seen many people lose their lives, and left many others severely injured, while buildings, including churches, seminaries and Caracas Cathedral, have been severely damaged.

Amidst the destruction, our trusted church partners in the Caritas network are on the ground, working to provide emergency support in the form of food, water and shelter to those most in need. Through our global Caritas partners, we are able to respond quickly and effectively to provide relief in some of the most difficult circumstances.

Please join us in praying for the community affected by this terrible disaster: our sisters and brothers who have lost their lives, those who have been injured, families who have lost loved ones, and for teams involved in rescue efforts.
